Starfire galloped into the land with her head held high. She was proud of herself because she had just fought off another stallion who had thought to make her his own. Only when she reached the rough parts of the river did she lower her head to drink from the pure fresh tasting water. Her auds turned every which way listening for the sounds that indicated that there was someone or something else around of approaching. Lifting her head she snorted and then began to graze on the lush grass. She dared another stallion to come after her.

The quiet sound of rushing water was getting slowly louder with every step he took. The world was his oyster as he looked on through his dark optics. Every muscle was toned, bulging from beneath his ivory pelt. He was in fine condition the stallion, a proud and dignified monster who was capable of practically anything. He looked different from most of the native brutes, his peltage unusually clean and his body shape generally different. For the stallion was of purebred Arabian origin, something that was somewhat unusual on the hills. His past was almost as dark as his soul, but he'd never reveal it to a soul. His peltage was not ebony like most would expect such an evil creature to be, but if they suspected him not to be - they would be proved sincerly wrong.
As he trotted closer, the scent of the femme entered his 'trils and he snorted. He didn't particurly like company, especially from mares - for the elegance and stature that was rarely seen in the clumbsy idiots that called themselves stallions these days. Continuing to the water's edge, he ignored the bay coloured mare that stood beside him, grazing. Dropping his angular crania, he drank from the violent waters that almost reflected his own persona - calm and statly one moment, but wild and formidable the next. He continued to drink for a few more minutes, occaisonally letting his eyes wander to the grazing mare, looking at her - her posture and body language. She seemed rather proud of herself, a fighter perhaps. No matter, he wasn't interested, but she was a pretty little thing. As he turned slightly, his back to her, he too began to graze, tearing the fresh emerald shoots from the ground to fuel his dark mind, he awaited to see if she'd do anything.

As soon as the sound of an approaching equine reached her auds, Starfire began to glance out the corner of her orbs without raising her head, trying to catch a glimpse of whomever it was without drawing too much attention to herself. When her orbs did spot the brute the first thing she noticed that he was of Arabian blood like herself. While she was only a mixture of Arabian blood he seemed to be pure Arabian in her eyes. The next thing that caught her attention was his pelt and she immediately decided that from his looks that he didn't seem to be a dark evil creature like herself, but it would take more than looks to find such out if this proved to be true or not.
Snorting and shaking her crania, she curiously moved a little closer towards him. Never before had she seen a stallion which a clean ivory pelt. Starfire had admit that he did seem handsome, but that didn't mean anything. The first sign of weakness or if he tried to force her into something or to listen to him she would lose all interest and be done with him. For now though, the ivory brute held her interest.
"Greetings M'lord I am Starfire," she hissed to him in a voice that almost sounded as if it was able to pierce hearts. She had to test him for weakness so she would know if he was worth her time or not. In her eyes being a coward was the ultimate form of weakness, so if he passed the test by not showing any signs of fear or something similar she would tolerate his presence for now.
